rellie's statement: Ive really been bored lately, and was thinking that it would be really
useful to make a nade guide that could be seen by the whole community.
One problem, I have no moviemaking skills whatsoever, so I cant put
clips together. I know hundreds of nades for
anzio/argentan/salerno/lennon and donner, but I cant do much with it..
:P
So if anyone has the time to put a few (lots) of clips
together, I can get all nades on demos within a few days. It doesnt
have to be edited at all, just the nades (unless you really want to).
... jitz from coldgame will make this :)
A short interview with rellie on zpgaming about the guide:
1. What possessed you to share these nades with your opponents?
I didn't think of it as a negative thing. I know a lot of players know
the nades, but can't all use them to full potential. I'm not too fussed
if my opponents use these nades against me, they can and WILL be
discovered sooner or later. Another reason for putting the guide
together, is to familiarise the lower skilled players with nades that
experencied players already have a grasp of.
2. How much practice do they take? Will teams be able to pick them up instantly?Well,
it depends. Sometimes you can get a lucky flick off a skybox or
building, which causes them to land exactly where you desire. Other
times they go nowhere near, and in matches, this could mean killing
half your team! I guess its just finding exactly where to stand when
you're nading, and most importantly, WHEN to nade.
As the answer to the second part of the question, it all depends if the
player can use them at the correct time. They are completely useless
and are a waste of nades if they aren't timed correctly.
3. Do you think some of these grenades could change how certain maps are played?A
lot the the nades featured in my guide are already known. Most can be
effective, and can change how maps are played. Others are just to hold
your enemies back or just cool tricks to show your mates! So yeah, one nade COULD make a difference if used properly.
Is there anyone you'd like to mention that helped you find some of these grenades?
Yep! I'd like to thank yourself for your time and putting this
together, Austar, LUK3, bAc, tuRtz and seiken for showing me and
helping with nades! Most importantly, jitz for making the guide and
doing such a good job with it.
